Sur CA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Good morning from paradise!\u00a0 Who knew the sun would poke me in the eye, in the morning, on the west coast?\u00a0 Tis true, that big guy in the sky nudged me out of bed bright and early for this shot.\u00a0 Taken from the balcony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/16\/big-sur-ca\/sony-dsc-873\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3289\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3289\" title=\"SONY DSC\" src=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/0.jpg?w=500\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Since this leg of our trip was planned last min, we were not able to pillow our heads in Big Sur.\u00a0 But we found a place (Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa)\u00a0on up the road in Monterey Bay.\u00a0 Although it was about an hours\u00a0drive from Big Sur, the drive down was beautiful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Shot from our balcony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/16\/big-sur-ca\/sony-dsc-874\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3290\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium bridge to see the stunning cliffs and rocky coast.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/16\/big-sur-ca\/sony-dsc-878\/\" rel=\"attachment nothing on the agenda other than to enjoy ourselves and take in the things we wanted to take in at our own pace.\u00a0 It truly felt like vacation in every way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/16\/big-sur-ca\/7-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3296\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone style=\"text-align:justify;\">I think this is yet another time when I was\u00a0wishing hubby Happy Birthday.\u00a0 I wished him Happy Birthday morning noon and night for 7 days straight.\u00a0\u00a0He deserves the very best.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/16\/big-sur-ca\/sony-dsc-879\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3299\"><img height=\"332\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">We were still at Bixby Bridge, but this is another shot of the coast on the other side.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a style=\"text-align:justify;\">After we had our fill at the bridge, we moseyed up the road.\u00a0\u00a0This pic was taken from the passenger seat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a style=\"text-align:justify;\">Another shot from the passenger seat.\u00a0 That mountain running into the ocean is a Navy Facility of sorts.\u00a0 We both agreed that was a nice strategic place.\u00a0 If I were in the Navy, I would want to eat, sleep and work from there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/icalltheshot.wordpress.com\/2012\/05\/16\/big-sur-ca\/sony-dsc-882\/\" It came highly recommended by friends and we can report that the food was amazing and so was the&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a
