<\/a><\/div>\nIt was\u00a0the pair that\u00a0said “take me home”<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nHowever, one look at these and I was in love with not just one pair but two.\u00a0 I much prefer my identity with one pair so getting two was not an option.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nI really liked them, I did.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nBut for some reason they didn’t make me feel like me.<\/p>\n

- I slept on this for two nights<\/li>\n
- I went to another place with 1000 + frames a couple days ago to see if I liked something better.\u00a0 Nothing.<\/li>\n
- Posted on FB and 75% of my friends voted for the second pair (the ck)<\/li>\n
- Drove myself nuts for days<\/li>\n
- But nothing seemed to help me figure this out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
That’s when I had another visit with my hubby as I just couldn’t seem to make up my mind.\u00a0 Hubby liked both pair and he encouraged me to go with the ones I liked best.<\/p>\n
And just like that, the decision was made.\u00a0 The cloud of doubt disappeared and I was good to go with my very first choice.<\/p>\n
Yesterday dawned and I scurried around to run over to claim my new frames.<\/p>\n
When I arrived, I went straight for the frames I had my heart set on.\u00a0 I had no intentions of even giving the other pair a shot.\u00a0 However, the\u00a0Optician handed the other pair over to me to try on, just one more time.\u00a0 I reluctantly tried them on one last time.<\/p>\n
That my friends was the beginning of self doubt.\u00a0 I went back and forth between the two and quickly made up my mind that I was taking the ones I intended to get.<\/p>\n
At that point Joy\u00a0the Optician\u00a0had me take a seat and she began to take measurements and such for my new pair of frames.<\/p>\n
A dot was made on the frames for the progressive part of the lens and the paperwork was nearly filled out.\u00a0 When all of a sudden, I jumped from the seat and ran over to the frames I pushed aside as if to say “I heard you calling me”.<\/p>\n
I came back over to the desk and began switching the frames back and forth frantically\u00a0giving each a fair shot.\u00a0 It was that “speak now or forever hold your peace” moment.\u00a0 A moment I needed to pick up the phone and call hubby.\u00a0 A moment I needed to know what the heck I was doing.\u00a0 A moment of panic, if you will.<\/p>\n
Thoughts came to mind that I could continue looking for frames.\u00a0 Oh no, scratch that I really like what I’ve already found.\u00a0 I just need to make\u00a0a decision.<\/p>\n
Somewhere between all my thoughts and doubt the\u00a0Optician said in a soft warm tone\u00a0“these frames will allow more room for the progressive lens”.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\nShe was right, I could see it!\u00a0 But was I making the right decision?\u00a0 I must have shuffled back and forth a thousand times in my mind before I said with confidence\u00a0“I’ll take these”!\u00a0 <\/p>\n
New paperwork ensued, new measurements were made and new dots were placed.<\/p>\n
I say all that to say, once my final decision was made peace washed over me and I knew without a doubt that I had made the right decision.<\/p>\n
When faced with decisions, it never hurts to sleep on it and give it some thought.\u00a0 But at some point, a decision must be made.\u00a0 And when the time comes,\u00a0do it\u00a0with conviction.\u00a0 In the end sweet peace is sure to find you just like it found me.<\/p>\n
