<\/a><\/div>\nWe enjoyed looking at all the different real-estate up and down the river<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\nWe saw a demonstration of pups learning the ropes.\u00a0 I’m confident they will make a great dog sled team this winter.\u00a0 They pulled this gentleman (motor was taken out) for one huge loop.\u00a0 It was a lot of fun to watch.<\/p>\n
There they are taking off.\u00a0 Hard to describe in the pic but they went all the way around that pond and back. <\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nComing up on a fish camp – cool stuff<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nAnd passed by the prettiest flower pots on this porch. <\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nSoon our little tour up the river ended and our tummies were hungry for dinner.\u00a0 So happy Dan and Rita knew just the place to take us.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nLoved the use of this old contraption just outside the front door<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nSalmon was one of the things I wanted on this trip.\u00a0 Somehow our trip to Alaska would not be complete without it.<\/p>\n
The tough decision for me was between the garlic mashed potatoes and fries.\u00a0 I was told the fries here were amazing but, but, but…I could begin to stutter at this point as there was such a beautiful ring to garlic mashed potatoes with my salmon dish.\u00a0 No regrets.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\nEveryone’s dish looked equally amazing and the desert was delish too!<\/p>\n
There’s something to be said about quality time with family and this was one of those evenings.<\/p>\n
I still have lots of pictures to leaf through and at least two more Alaska blogs to follow.<\/p>\n
