A day at the zoo is where we (Ryan and I) could be found.\u00a0 Ryan and I hit the road at 9 as we had a 107 acre zoo to explorer.\u00a0 With over 4,000 animals of more than 800 species, our day was sure to be a fun one.<\/p>\n

The Koala Bear was one of the first exhibits – Sweet little ones getting their rest.<\/p>\n

The statue of the ancient condor – With a wing span of 7 – 10 feet<\/p>\n

He’s just chillin’ on this beautiful day<\/p>\n

W arrived just as the elephant was walking up to the feeder – He’s having lunch<\/p>\n

So many different kinds of turtles – I have such a love for these creatures<\/p>\n

Extinct American Lion – The American Loins were about 25% larger than today’s African Lions.<\/p>\n

But I’ll keep my distance<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

And admire their beauty and respect his strength from afar<\/p>\n

Hello Mr. Zebra – Your stripes are precise <\/p>\n

Now he is one cool cat as long as he’s on the other side of the fence<\/p>\n

He was way back there pacing and pacing and I could hardly get a shot.\u00a0 Suppose he was hungry.<\/p>\n

We think we remember this being some sort of viper.\u00a0 Check out his wild looking head in the lower left.<\/p>\n

Such beautiful flowers and tropical trees.\u00a0 I just wasn’t thinking about taking pictures ’til the end.<\/p>\n

Ryan shopping for souvenirs\/gifts – He found a couple of really nice gifts<\/p>\n

We had such a wonderful time and when it was all said and done, home was the place we wanted to be.\u00a0 Actually, we were both dreaming of a nice afternoon nap and resting our feet.<\/p>\n

Ryan’s way of chillin’ in the pergola up on that rock – He’s out there with pen, paper and coffee – Working on lyrics for a new song for his band back home. <\/p>\n

And this concludes another great day and visit with Ryan.<\/p>\n
