This truly has been perhaps the very best birthday of my life. <\/span>From the moment we got up this morning Hubby would not allow me to do anything other than get myself ready. <\/span>And he has done nothing but give me the royal treatment all day long.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We enjoyed a few hours of shopping and had a wonderful dinner and desert later on this evening. <\/span>And to top all of that off, he surprised me with a special gift! <\/span>He treated me with a gift certificate to a local resort and has purchased quite the spa package for me. <\/span>I get started off with a 50 min massage, then a 50 min. European deep cleansing facial, a pedicure and Lunch! <\/span>I think I\u2019ll let this sink in for a couple weeks before I indulge. <\/span>I\u2019ll say I\u2019m one excited old lady!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Ok people, I keep hearing now that I\u2019m 40 that I\u2019m over the hill. <\/span>To be quite honest, I don\u2019t look at it like that at all. <\/span>On the contrary, I feel that I\u2019ve climbed this wonderful hill with many wonderful stops along the way. <\/span>Now that I have reached the quote unquote top, it\u2019s such a peaceful feeling for me. <\/span>And when Hubby asked how I felt about 40 this morning, I said. <\/span>\u201cI think the years to come are going to continue to get sweeter and sweeter. <\/span>I love these years of my life. <\/span>I look back in awe and wonder at how I got to where I am. <\/span>And I look ahead with such excitement with many more wonderful days and years to come. <\/span>I love life, I\u2019m quite alright calling myself an old lady and it doesn\u2019t bother me in the least. <\/span>And by the time I reach the valley and my time on earth shall be no more I know I will have a lifetime of joy to celebrate and I will be ready to cross the river and pass to the other side and on over to Glory Land. Amen!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

And the very worst birthday I can ever remember was turning 20. <\/span>That was exactly 20 years ago. <\/span>I remember how I didn\u2019t want to get out of bed to face the day. <\/span>Man that was a rough year for me. <\/span>Ya wanna know why? <\/span>Silly me didn\u2019t like the fact that I was no longer a teenager, and that\u2019s the year it hit me that I was turning into an adult. <\/span>O I was not ready. <\/span>I\u2019m so happy 20 years later I woke celebrating 40 with gusto! <\/span>I’m lovin\u2019 live!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
