What a treat to meet hubby’s friend (Christy from HS) and family.  It’s been over 30 years since they’ve seen each other and what a joy to have them vacationing in our neck of the woods.  Thanks to FB, hubby learned they were in town and the rest is history.

There was a lot of catching up on the balcony…

…while enjoying these amazing views.  The ambience at their resort was over the top amazing!

It was a fun evening, a night we will never forget.

Later in the evening, we headed downstairs to sit in the rocking chairs that circled around the open fire pit.  Terrible pic but the best one I have of the best rocking chair experience.

Sweet daughter Lara – LOVED her!  And she let me take tons of pix.  How fun!  While evening photography is not my forte, we had a blast!

I rescued a shot of Lara.  I think I like this one best in B and W.  Boo that I’m having such a difficult time with my camera.  Further evidence that I need to hop on another class to learn about night photography!
