I had a little fun with nature this morning as I found these two birds in the flower bed. They seemed quite friendly or maybe they were just scared or perhaps a nest is near by but I do hope they’re not hurt or sick. They would not fly away so I grabbed my camera and got really close to them.

I also noticed a butterfly in my newly planted flowers and just had to get his picture too.

Our steel pier crew has arrived and the guys (6 of them to be exact) are out there diligently working.

The foreman told us this morning that the job would be finished today. Not so sure with the continued rain. And not even a min after the sky picture was taken; it started to downpour so everything got covered…
