Bobby’s 5 Day Work Week

Bobby’s trip to Florida was originally supposed to be a 3 day ordeal. Due to our weather (heavy rains) here in TX, his trip turned into a full 5 day work week in FL as flights were canceled. The beauty of Bobby’s flight last night is that he was bumped to First Class! They had to give him the last seat on the plane and it turned out to be The BEST! On the down side, they waited for two hours on the plane to take off as the weather in Dallas was horrible. He didn’t seem to mind though as he kept busy on his computer relaxing in his rather large comfy seat. He was served a chicken dish and said it was actually pretty good. He wasn’t complaining as the other passengers on the flight were not served a meal. I’m so glad he got a meal as he arrived so late and I had already eaten too.

He had business at Pratt the first of the week. Then when his flight was canceled, he spent his time with my parents at their store. As some of you recall, my parents closed their place of business in Downtown Stuart after being there for 18 years. They wrapped up sales two weeks ago and have spent these last two weeks getting the rest of the place cleaned out. Bobby was a big help providing whatever assistance he could to help make the load lighter.

I’m so glad he was able to help my parents and God worked in mysterious ways causing his flight to be delayed. Mom keeps thanking us over and over for our help. The beauty of this is, when we do all we can do to help, we are the ones receiving the blessing. Happy semi retirement mom and dad, we love you and wish you the very best!
