My grandma, for as long as I’ve known her has called pants/slacks, britches. Britches happens to be one of my favorite words. I got tickled over Christmas when I said britches and my step-daughter thought I was referring to underwear/panties. We all got a nice chuckle over that.
So, here’s my take on this decorative pottery handbag with britches in mind.
This was such a fun piece to fabricate.
There are still a few areas that need a little smoothing but I couldn’t wait to share.
Bits and pieces
- Hubby’s not well as he’s been fighting a cold the last few days. I’m trying to take care of him.
- Food shopping is on my to do list today
- I’m already excited about the next handbag. I pretty much have the pattern and design all figured out. I may be back in the studio over the weekend.
- I hope to share some studio pix in the days to come.
- Hubby has given me one of the stalls in the garage and I couldn’t be happier. The perk is that I can play in the mud while hubby enjoys working in his area. How fun to tinker together.
